Ministry to Boys, Ages 12-18

Battalion focuses on discipleship. Christian men build personal relationships with teen guys and train them to be effective Christian leaders. These 12- to 18-year-old young men experience peer group leadership through weekly meetings, service projects and outings. As Christian men:

Battalion leaders are trying to:

- Guide young men to the Lord

- Guide young men to the Word of God

- Guide young men to Christian maturity

- Guide young men to the local church

The Weekly Meeting

The weekly meeting is a time of activities, games, stories and small group study. Leaders regularly challenge the boys from the Word of God.

Camps

An integral part of Battalion is camp. Brigade runs camps across North America. These camps provide you with an excellent opportunity to spend quality time with your boys. Just some of the activities available are: archery, horseback riding, crafts, swimming, boating, Bible studies, campfires, special trip camps and food. Battalion boys also receive leadership and service opportunities.

Shape N Race

Some Battalions join in the church’s annual Shape N Race derby. This might be a good way for your Battalion boys to serve the boys in Stockade by helping the younger boys make their cars. Click here to go to the Shape N Race page.

Regional Events

Many regions conduct special events and try to bring together the other Stockades in the area. These include camping trips, sporting events and other fun activities.
