Encourage your Stockade and Battalion units to participate in the 61st annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3. Guide your boys to pray for the President; your U.S. Senators and Congressman; state and local officials. The needs across our nation call for a greater number of CSB units to be established in vast metro areas like New York City; Los Angeles; Chicago; Washington DC; and Boston. Our nation needs an “army” of godly men, calling out for revival. “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority,” (1 Tim. 2:1-2); “Righteous exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people,” (Prov. 14:34). Church leaders in Zambia have asked CSB to return for another series of leadership training. Please pray for Ron Rynd, Norm Tacklind, Harold Browne, and Brian Stebick as they train men in local churches to disciple boys implementing CSB strategy. The team will be in Lusaka the week of April 15 to 21. These churches are excited to develop ministry for their men and boys. Our team of four men will appreciate your prayer support during their trip.

Telling one’s “story” is an effective way to communicate how God is working in men’s lives. Take a few minutes to read this recent testimonal from long-term CSB advocate, Ralph Essery. Please pray that his insights will resonate with friends and donors of this movement. Read his letter here:
Gary joined CSB staff as Regional Director of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa in 1997. For the past 15 years, Gary has worked faithfully serving CSB leaders and churches across vast distances. He also provided significant leadership to Camp Nathanael for many summers. Gary and Valerie have answered God’s call to serve with Youth for Christ in Northern Ireland and anticipate His blessing in the coming months. Brian Stebick assumed Gary’s region on February 1. Both Gary and Brian are Christlike examples who are impacting scores of men and young men, building godly men of today and tomorrow.
Join with friends of CSB during 2012 for three special “Days of Prayer” on February 15, June 15, and October 15. Praise God for faithful prayer partners upholding CSB during this 75th anniversary year. Pray for greater urban impact in large metropolitan areas like New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Pray that CSB leaders would be renewed as they continue “building godly men of today and tomorrow.” Click on “Three Days of Prayer” as a guide.
Bob Nass joined CSB staff as Regional Director of Northern California in 1976. Bob has worked tirelessly, including further development of the Sequoia Brigade Camps. He also focused on leadership training for young men both through camp as well as the annual Regional Junior Leadership Conference. David Gregg succeeded Bob as Regional Director on January 1. We are excited that Bob will serve as a Staff Associate, focusing on Sequoia Brigade Camp. Bob is a wonderful example who has influenced the next generation, leaving a legacy worthy of emulation. Congratulations, Bob Nass.
